We specialize in big game fishing and whale watching off the scenic coast of Punta de Mita.  This area offers some of the best sport fishing in the world.  Punta Mita, also known as Punta de Mita or Mita, is a charming Mexican fishing village located 30 minutes drive northwest of Puerto Vallarta on the northwest point of Bahia de Banderas (The Bay of Flags).  Punta Mita is renowned for its wildlife, its relaxing surf, and its laid back attitude.

Punta de Mita is the ideal place to launch your trip from.  Punta de Mita has been blessed with much closer proximity to the protected Marietas Islands than the much busier Puerto Vallarta.  These waters host an abundance of game fish, whales, rays, turtles and the star of the islands, the blue footed booby. To fish the open ocean, boats leaving from Puerto Vallarta must boat right by Punta Mita, and back to get to these abundant waters.

By launching from Mita, you'll save two hours of travel time just getting to this ideal fishing area.  You'll spend more of your time doing what you signed up for, and less time "commuting".  There's also a good chance you'll really enjoy the much more laid back, atmosphere of Punta de Mita when you've come back in for the day. 

Lots of those who've come to Punta Mita for the day have fallen in love with the place and ended up staying for much longer.  Some have even bought a vacation home while in Punta Mita!

We offer full day fishing charters to Corbeteña,  El Banco, and other deep ocean fishing spots or half-day fishing charters in and around Banderas Bay. Corbeteña is 18 miles from Punta de Mita while El Banco is 25 miles out. Both fishing banks are within easy reach for day fishing trips where Yellow fin Tuna, Black Marlin, Wahoo, Sailfish, Mahi-mahi, Bonita, Pargo Amberjack, sea turtles, whales, sea lions, and dolphin are found.
